FAQs

What is Studio Beulah?

Studio Beulah is an art studio and performance space in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. Before COVID 19, we offered workshops, hosted group art exhibits, and held performances in our physical space.

In an effort to continue with our offerings we have come online and created this website. At different times it will become different things. Our inaugural show is The Summer Show which features 7 Hamilton based artists and 2 vintage artisans. We will be hosting some storytelling performances in the September 2020 and a holiday craft show in December 2020. Our aim is to support artists and to create opportunities while we navigate these uncertain times.

Who is behind Studio Beulah?

Studio Beulah is the artistic home to multisciplinary artist Lisa Pijuan-Nomura, photographer David Pijuan-Nomura and Max who is a 10 year old artist who is interested in zines, ink drawing, singing and basketball.

Lisa brings her organizational skills to Studio Beulah while Dave is in charge of all things technical. Max is an associate artist and looks forward to us hosting another Mighty Brave Youth Arts Show in September.
